Fight between juveniles

MILL HALL — An incident occurred on Nov. 16 at approximately 4 p.m. at the corner of Main Street and Church Street in Mill Hall, when a 13-year-old female from Flemington and a 15-year-old female from Mill Hall engaged in a fight, state police at Lamar.

Retail Theft

MILL HALL — Two Mill Hall women, Mary Meyers, 44, and Debra Neff, 63, have been charged with shoplifting/retail theft after allegedly stealing numerous miscellaneous items from the Walmart Supercenter, 167 Hogan Boulevard, Mill Hall, on Nov. 30, according to state police at Lamar.

The items had a total value of $323.21, police said.

Cruelty to animals

RENOVO –Jeffrey Burger, 39, of Renovo, has been charged with cruelty to animals on Nov. 22 for allegedly leaving a 10-month-old Husky outside at 347 Saint Clair Ave., Renovo, unattended for extended periods of time with no shelter, food or water, state police at Lamar said.

Drug possession

MILL HALL — On Nov. 22, a traffic stop was initiated on Ryan Long, 22, of Mill Hall, due to traffic violations along East Arch Street in Mill Hall, state police at Lamar said.

Upon further investigation, Long was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug possession charges have been filed, police said.

Theft by deception

LINDEN — Joseph Brennan, 57, of Mill Hall, reported he dropped his wallet in the parking lot of Sheetz in Linden, Lycoming County, state police at Lamar said. Unknown actor(s) then picked up the wallet and proceeded to make multiple purchases with debit and credit cards that belonged to Brennan, police said.

Theft of packages

PHILIPSBURG –State police at Rockview are investigating the theft of several UPS packages that were delivered to 225 N. Seventh St., Philipsburg on Nov. 26 between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Hunting rifle stolen

PHILIPSBURG — A Ruger Southport, CT Winchester Short Mag with Leopold Scope valued at $450 was stolen from a parking lot off Huckleberry road, Rush Township, Centre County on Nov. 29, state police at Rockview said. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 814-355-7545.

Drug possession in home

BEECH CREEK — A 33-year-old Beech Creek woman was found in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia in a home along North Eagle Valley Road on Nov. 20 at 6:21 p.m., state police at Rockview said.

Vehicle struck

PHILIPSBURG — A 2015 Toyota Rav4 was parked in a parking lot along Port Matilda Highway, Rush Township, Centre County, when it was struck by a 1993 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by Clifford D. Gray, 52, of Hawks Run, Pa., state police at Rockview said.

Gray was backing out of another parking space when his vehicle’s hitch mount cargo carrier struck the other vehicle causing minor damage, police said.

Gray was not aware he’d struck the vehicle and left the scene, police said.

Surveillance footage was reviewed and he was identified, police said.

Criminal mischief

PHILIPSBURG — Richard Pressler, 64, of Philipsburg, was arrested for criminal mischief on Dec. 2 at 3:40 p.m., state police at Rockview said.

$402 stolen

PHILIPSBURG — Michael Williams, 26, of Philipsburg, was arrested Dec. 1 at 2:23 a.m. after he stole $402 from a 38-year-old Philipsburg man on Dec. 1 at 2:23 a.m. at the Minit Mart, 321 N. Front St., state police at Rockview said.

Williams was charged with theft and placed in the Centre County Jail awaiting arraignment, police said.

The money was recovered and returned to the victim, police said.

Harassment alleged

PORT MATILDA — A man and woman, both of Port Matilda, were cited for harassment after pushing one another at 1745 Sunnyside Hollow Rd., Worth Township, Centre County on Nov. 28 at 7:44 p.m., state police at Rockview said.
