WILLIAMSPORT — A Jersey Shore driver and his passenger were not injured in a two-vehicle accident at 8:40 a.m. on Oct. 5 at Route 180 and the Faxon on-ramp, state police at Montoursville reported.

Drivers were Cynthia A. Keim, of Jersey Shore and John L. Otto of Williamsport. Passengers were Joann M. Otto of Williamsport, a passenger in Otto’s car, and Robert G. Moore of Jersey Shore, a passenger in Keim’s vehicle.

Police said Otto was traveling on the Faxon on-ramp attempting to merge onto 180 and Keim was at a complete stop in front of Otto at the traffic control device attempting to merge. Otto’s car struck Keim’s vehicle. Police said Otto will be charged with following too closely.
