Firefighters from at least two counties are on the scene of a house fire at a large property owned by the St. John family just off Brewery Hollow Road in Woodward Township.
Upon arrival at the scene, flames were shooting through the roof.
Multiple fire companies were dispatched after the alarm about 12:15 and 12:30 p.m.
It was unclear if anyone was home at the time, however, The Express reporter observed people using a garden hose to try to douse the flames and to get a hold of a dog on the property.
The Jay street Bridge was closed for some time to allow fire trucks to cross, take Farrandsville Road and go up Brewery Hollow to St. John Lane.
