I support Marc Friedenberg for Congress because, like me, he believes that broadband access is vital for the economic growth of this place. We cannot accept the status quo that leaves so many of us stranded, without a way to connect to the broader economy.

We need access to information on what things cost, what sells, and where can we get better prices. We need to be able to reach customers directly without intermediaries. We need to have access to what’s trending. We need to attract new industries — and they will WANT broadband access if we are going to be successful at enticing them to start or move their operation to any one of the 15 counties in our 12th District of Pennsylvania.

We have been voting in the same people over and over, and they have done nothing to address this Internet access problem.

It’s time for a change. It’s time to elect Friedenberg to Congress. Marc has two degrees in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State, where he now teaches. He understands the Internet crisis in rural America and as a member of Congress he’ll be committed to pushing for better Internet access in rural areas.
