LOCK HAVEN-After spending the first three weeks of the season on the road, the Lock Haven University football team (0-3) will host West Chester (2-1) in their home opener on Saturday at 2p.m. at Hubert Jack Stadium.
The Bald Eagles are coming off a 33-7 loss at then No. 25 Slippery Rock, who defeated West Chester at home in a thriller in week two.
"We look forward to the time we get a home game," Lock Haven Head Coach Dave Taynor told the Lock Haven Express in an interview last week.
Saturday's game at The Rock saw Lock Haven use three different quarterbacks for the first time this season. Cameron Tobias, who had been the starter for the first two weeks of the season, only attempted two passes, both being incomplete and one going for an interception.
Instead, Lock Haven mainly used a two-quarterback system against Slippery Rock.
Redshirt Junior Jimmy Strickland started the game for the Bald Eagles, going 8-18 for 63 yards. Freshman Kyle Knight also saw time and completed 3-7 passes for 23 yards. Knight had major success on the ground, as he carried the ball 22 times for 104 yards, leading the Lock Haven offense.

They will need a heaping effort offensively as the Golden Rams are coming off a 62-28 thrashing of Edinboro, a team that Lock Haven lost to (20-7) in week two.
West Chester quarterback Paul Dooley has passed for 608 yards and nine touchdowns in three weeks this season. Running back Jarel Edler has rushed for 317 yards and six touchdowns to help lead the Golden Ram offense.
For Lock Haven, wide receiver Bryan Greene has hauled in 15 receptions for 137 yards this season, both team-highs.
Defensively, Isaiah Flamer has picked up right where he left off last season, leading the Bald Eagles with 35 tackles total and an interception.
This will mark the 30th time that these two teams have squared off, with Lock Haven trailing the series 6-22-1. The Golden Rams have won the last six meetings, including a 33-7 victory last season.
Saturday will also mark the homecoming game of the 2017 season for Lock Haven. The Bald Eagles are winners of three straight homecoming games at Hubert Jack Stadium.
