American planes later returned to the site as people from a nearby market and Orthodox Church rushed to help the bombing victims to bomb again killing an additional seven people (10 in total) and seriously injuring 17 — all civilians. But immediately, President Trump seized on this tragedy to escalate his attacks on immigrants because the suspected shooter is an Afghan refugee. Donald Moskowitz Londonderry, NH The proposed peace plan to end Russia’s devastating war in Ukraine is a capitulation to Russia, and it rewards an invading hostile country. Furthermore, the resultant plan gives Russia impetus to conduct future warfare to expand further west in Europe.
