LOCK HAVEN — The Twisted Racquet-Tears are a local singalong band that shares music with the public. They particularly enjoy sharing with seniors, churches and long-term care facilities.
The Racquet-Tears regularly play at STEP’s Clinton County Community Center on the first and third Friday of every month from 1-3 p.m., barring bad weather and holidays.
They prepare sets of music for holidays, children’s songs, cowboy songs, gospel songs, folk songs and other categories. The band also has a large array of everyday songs ranging from the 40s to the music of today.
Recently the band enjoyed sharing its Christmas set with the STEP’s Clinton County Center for Healthy Aging, The Dunnstown United Methodist Church, Haven Place and the Lock Haven Rehabilitation and Senior Living Community.
The band has also played at a number of other venues throughout the year.
