LOCK HAVEN — The Clerks will be making their summer concert debut on the Main Street Stage, this Friday, July 25, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Clerks pay tribute to the 90s unlike anyone else can! Bringing you rock, pop and sub pop from one of the best decades in music history. Deriving its name from the pop culture of the grunge movement of the early 90s that will have you digging up that old flannel you put away with so many memories on it and channeling the late 90s Rock so well that you’ll break out that old wallet chain and frost your tips again.
The Clerks are brought to you by former members of Central PA Touring bands Six Years Gone, All Else Fails and The Northern Shine in Troy Love and Scott Bird.
Troy and Scott were shaped by the very songs that this tribute band brings to life, and in fact, have been paying tribute to the 90s in every entertainment outfit that these two partners in crime have been a part of for the last 27 years.
Troy and Scott have joined forces with the salt and pepper bearded, blue ribbon winner for the “Finest Texas Tuxedo on a Stage or Film” and local renowned guitarist of multiple fames, Donny Saar. The steadfast backbone of The Clerks, who was 40 in the nineties and with a voice and harmonies fit for the Actual Salt-n-Pepa, known as Tom “Union” Rainey, aka Cuz.
And finding a true diamond in the rough, a low end emperor, solid in the pocket as the day is long, and easily the most handsome member, Marcus Ruch, you get a line up of some of the most talented musicians any one band could have, a literal Captain Planet of 90s Tributes.
If you love to sing along to the ballads like those from Hootie and the Blowfish, The Goo Goo Dolls and Oasis or reliving your angst with grunge era hits from Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots and Nirvana or fist pumping along with late 90s bangers from the Foo Fighters, Creed and Fuel or even if you like reminiscing of One Hit Wonders by the likes of SpaceHog, The Toadies, and The Flys and SO much more from the greatest decade that we have ever seen, then The Clerks is your one stop shop for ALL 90s ALL THE TIME.
Grab your chairs and head on down to Main Street for a rockin’ evening of music!
