NEW YORK (AP) — Chanel’s new showman, Matthieu Blazy, took his designs on the road Tuesday — or rather, underground, with a buzzy New York runway show staged on an actual subway platform. The designer, just weeks after his splashy Paris debut for Chanel in October, took over a decommissioned part of Manhattan’s Bowery station for his first Metiers d’Art collection. ‘Light of the World’: Renovo Area Community Choir to perform A Cantata for Advent & Christmas

On Dec. 7, at 2 p.m., the 7th Street First United Methodist Church will host the Renovo Area Community Choir as they present A Cantata for Advent & Christmas by Joseph Martin and Pamela Martin. With carols of faith, the everlasting story of the “Light of the World” will come alive declaring the birth of a child named Jesus.
