JERSEY SHORE — Young women who graduated from Jersey Shore Area Senior High School joined the Jersey Shore Chapter of Business and Professional Women (BPW) for a special night.

Each month, a student is chosen to be the Jersey Shore Girl of the Month. At the end of the school year, the girls and their mothers are honored with a special meal. This is a time for the BPW members to get to know these future leaders in our community and a chance to show appreciation for the important work of their mothers that brought them to this point. The students and their mothers also have the opportunity to learn more about BPW.

Each girl received a gift and presented her mother with a single rose. The young women shared a little about themselves and shared what they will do post-graduation.

Jersey Shore BPW meets the third Tuesday of the month during most of the year.

The club welcomes additional members from Lycoming and Clinton counties. If you are a working woman and are interested in comradery and learning more about the community through engaging speakers each month, consider joining BPW.
