Library

The Porter Township Community Library is holding a summer library program. There will be stories, activities, crafts, games, snacks and book selections. It will be at the library on June 10, 17 and 24 and at Recreation Park on July 1. The program will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a guest reader each week. Travelers Picnic

PA Happy Travelers annual summer picnic is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9, beginning at 3 p.m., at the Castanea Fire Company Picnic Grounds, 859 Lower Creek Road, Lock Haven. Bring a dish to share, your own beverages and a chair for your comfort. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made by calling Judy Walker at 570-726-4426 before July 2.

Yard/Bake Sale

Wayne Township Recreation Committee will have a Yard and Bake Sale on Saturday, June 14, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Wayne Township Nature Park’s pavilion # 2. Items sold will be in good, working condition and are clean. No clothing is being offered. The committee will also have refreshments for sale.
