Calendar of Events

Wednesday, June 18

— LHHS and ICHS Classes of 1959 will meet for lunch at noon at Fox’s Restaurant, Church St., Lock Haven. Class members and guests are welcome.

— LHHS and ICHS Class of 1952 will meet for lunch at Browns Hill Tavern in Lamar at 12 noon. Guests are welcome.

— Red Cross Blood Drive, 1:30-6 p.m., at the Porter Township Building.

— Vacation Bible School, June 18-19, at Beech Creek Wesleyan Church. Children ages three through teens are invited to attend the Know It and Grow It program each evening from 6-8 p.m.

— Volunteers needed to attend a planning meeting for the Jacksonville Festival, 6 p.m. at the festival grounds near the church in Jacksonville.

Thursday, June 19

— LHHS Class of 1958 monthly get together, 1 p.m., at Haywoods on the Green. All classmates and their guests are invited. 570-660-0134 for more info.

— Last night of Vacation Bible School at Beech Creek Wesleyan Church. Children ages three through teens are invited to attend the Know It and Grow It program from 6-8 p.m.

— Milesburg Lions Club Bingo at the community center, 6:45 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Friday, June 20

— Red Cross Blood Drive, 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Flemington First Church of Christ.

— Bingo at Mill Hall Fire Company, 6:30 p.m. Doors and kitchen open at 5:30 p.m.

— Lock Haven Summer Concert series featuring The Lindy Sisters, 6-8 p.m., at Triangle Park.

— Millbrook Playhouse’s Youth Ensemble presents Grease! On the Ryan Main Stage, June 20-July 3.

— Clinton Piecemakers Quilt Guild will hold a Quilt Show from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Commonwealth University Lock Haven Recreation Center at 550 Railroad St., Lock Haven. Admission is $5. There will be quilts of all sizes and types on display along with quilting vendors.

— Old School Market, East End Mountain Road (Rote), in Mill Hall, is open every Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Special auction starting at 4 p.m., selling misc. merchandise. Hay and small animal sale at 6 p.m. Call Keystate Auctions for sale info at 570-927-2862.

— Lemont Village Association’s summer concert series. Each Friday night from 7:30-9 p.m. on the Village Green enjoy free music. Tonight the concert will be given by Jeff Gibble, Zeb Crews and Zach Humphreys. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy. Get an ice cream cone from the scouts for a donation to Troop 367.
