Belle Springs Golf Course announces results of tournament

MILL HALL — Belle Springs Golf Course recently announced the results of the Brandon Steinbacher Fallen Firefighter Tournament held on June 21.
First place, shooting a 62, went to Mike Walker, Ron Dreibelbis, Adam Coleman and Judd Caruso, earning them $75 each.
Second place went to Shawn Kunes, Josh O’Brien, Carlin Chesick and Burke Blazer, shooting a 63, earning them $50 each.
The Low Firefighter Team consisted of the Steinbacher’s, namely Pat, Crissy, Shane and Kelly.
Awards of $25 were given to Pat Steinbacher for being the closest to Pin #8 and to Eric Kline for being the closest to pin #17. The straightest drive #1 title went to Josh O’Brien while Shane Steinbacher secured the longest drive #16 title.
Burke Blazer won the 50/50 drawing, a $30 prize.
The tournament is held to honor the memory of Brandon Steinbacher, who was 21 at the time of his death in 2009 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Steinbacher was a 2006 graduate of Central Mountain High School and had been a member of the Lamar Township Fire Company since the age of 14.
