Join Ferguson Twp for municipal mixer at Autumnwood Park
STATE COLLEGE — Ferguson Township invites all community members to the Municipal Mixer at Autumnwood Park on Wednesday, July 23, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The event will feature fun, interactive activities designed to connect residents with local organizations and services. It’s a great opportunity for families and individuals to explore community resources and enjoy an evening outdoors.
This event will be held at Autumnwood Park, the future site of a new playground replacement project planned for 2026, funded by a KABOOM! grant. Attendees will have the chance to learn more about this exciting project, with township staff available to provide information and answer questions.
Event Highlights
— Community Engagement Tables: The Municipal Mixer will feature a variety of local organizations. Representatives will be available to share information about their work and answer questions.
— Bucket Truck Rides: Attendees can participate in this hands-on experience of exploring a Ferguson Township Public Works vehicle.
— Food Trucks: Local food trucks will be on-site with prepared food and drinks available for attendees to purchase throughout the event.
— Centre Region Parks and Recreation Bike Rodeo: In partnership with Ferguson Township Police, PennDOT, Centre Regional Planning Agency and The Bicycle Shop, the Bike Rodeo is an opportunity for young riders to test their skills on an obstacle course, learn bicycle safety tips and get a free helmet check completed.
