The Foresters to be in concert July 6

LAMAR — The Lamar Lighthouse Campground continues to hold their Sunday night summer concerts. The Foresters will be at the campground on Sunday, July 6, for the concert set to begin at 6 p.m.
The Forester Family Band is a full time Christian music ministry. Based in Nashville, Tenn., the family travels all across the United States and Canada, holding more than 110 concerts each year. The family members play a large variety of instruments including the piano, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, the mandolin, harmonica and drums. They write much of the material they sing. Their style is current and fresh with strong lyrical content.
The Foresters consist of Mark (vocals, piano and guitars), Andrea (lead vocals), Tyler (age 19 — drums and guitar) and Trevor (age 15 — vocals and bass guitar).
The group has released five radio singles and all five have charted in the top 80 on the Singing News national charts. The Foresters were also nominated top 10 band of the year by the readers of the Singing News Magazine.
The Foresters have released 42 recordings in 24 years. The newest is a project called “Calling You Home,” that was recorded in Nashville and produced by Mark.
The Foresters are members of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon, Tenn.
The Sunday evening concerts are free at Lamar Lighthouse Camp. A love offering is taken each week to support those in concert and the Lamar Lighthouse Camp.
