Benefit event

A benefit for severely wounded soldiers from Ukraine will be held on Thursday, Oct. 2, from 6 to 10 p.m., at the Sons and Daughters of Italy patio, 1 N. Henderson St., Lock Haven. The event will feature a performance from Private Stock Trio, a cash bar and Stoltzfus chicken BBQ dinner with macaroni salad, cole slaw and baked beans. Attendees can meet Sgt. Davyd, his wife and volunteers from Revived Soldiers Ukraine who are receiving rehabilitation in the U.S. For details email fschulze@comcast.net.

KCSD Rally

Keystone Central is inviting all students who live in the district’s area to join them in kicking off the 2025 school season! On Sunday, Aug. 24, students, staffulty, families and the community will meet at Don Malinak Stadium to celebrate the amazing work that students do each and every day in the classroom. They will celebrate pep rally-style with shout-outs, performances, entertaining games and so much more! There will be a lot of surprises during the event which will run from 6-7:30 p.m.
