Beloved local singing group Ramalama will reunite for a free performance in Talleyrand Park to celebrate exciting progress on the Stage at Talleyrand project on Sunday, Oct. 5 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the location of the Stage at Talleyrand Park.
South and salad dinner
Judy Densevich Memorial All You Can Eat Soup and Salad Dinner; Monday, October 27th at Bellefonte Knights of Columbus, 315 Stoney Batter, Bellefonte, PA 16823 (Up the hill from the Dollar General). Serving the public from 11AM-7PM, or until the soup runs out. Featuring at least 20 homemade soups, numerous salads, breads and plenty of homemade desserts. Cost is only $10 for eat in or take out. Crack Sealing
The Mill Hall Borough Public Works employees will be sealing road cracks in the borough from Sept. 29 through Oct. 10. Please use caution when encountering the employees on the roadways.
Wayne Township History for sale
The Wayne Township Recreational Committee is offering their book, “A Township Called Wayne,” for a price of $10. This book will make a nice gift for family and friends, especially historians and those with ties to the Wayne Township community. New Hope Fellowship Room
New Hope Fellowship has a Fellowship Corner Room at its church at 6436 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall. The Fellowship Corner Room is available for your parties, receptions, showers and other small gathering events. The room will seat 60-70 comfortably and offers tables, cushioned chairs, stoves, microwaves, a refrigerator and plenty of counter space and outside parking. TOPS
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is looking for interested participants and guest speakers. Weigh-ins are from 4:30-5 p.m. each Monday afternoon, followed by the business meeting at 5 p.m. TOPS is held at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Mill Hall. Guest speakers are being sought to give a 15-20 minute presentation (or demonstration) on nutrition, forms of exercising or other healthy habits during the meetings.
