Leaf Collection

Woodward Township will collect leaves only on Mondays and Fridays through Nov. 24. Residents should rake their piles of leaves to the curb or front yard, keeping away from mailboxes and other items. Do not bag leaves or put leaves into the street.

Fall fair

St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be holding its Fall Fair on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. The fair will feature a very large yard sale, bake sale, fudge sale and a raffle table. Lunch will be served in the fellowship hall. On the menu are walking tacos, yummy sandwiches, homemade soups, delicious homemade pies, cakes and desserts. The soups being offered are vegetable beef, ham and bean and chicken corn soup. Quarts of soup may be purchased at $7/quart. Young Patrons of Husbandry

Centre County Young Patrons of Husbandry, “Y P of H,” will be having a Fall Banquet on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m., at the Unionville Grange Hall in Unionville, Pa. The banquet will feature Roast Beef and all the fixings for $15. The banquet is open to any Grange member in Centre County. For reservations, please call Suzanne at 814-383-2502 by Oct. 31.
