McELHATTAN — Wayne Township is gearing up for a fun-filled day this Saturday, Oct. 25.

Events will begin at 4 p.m. and run until 6 p.m. in and around the Nature Park and include the following:

TRUNK OR TREAT IN

THE PARKING LOT

The township’s recreation committee anticipates hosting several trunks this year in the parking lot. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your family to an organized, fun time. There are several volunteer trunkers who are excited to offer a variety of goodies.

BATES MOTEL AT THE

HOLIDAY HOUSE

This scary scene will be presented to anyone who dares to enter the motel. Come and see what Jeri has planned for this first-time offering! Age discretion advised.

PARKING AT THE NATURE PARK

The new parking lot is expected to be open this week. Please park in one of the two available parking lots. Parking along Linnippi Trail will be permitted on the park side of the road only. Township employees will install “No Parking” signs along the far side of Linnippi Trail later this week to ensure safety for all who attend our events.
