TODAY

— Blood Drive, 1-6 p.m., at Tri County Church, Main St., Mill Hall.

— Howard Area Lions Food Bank, noon to 3 p.m., at the former Beech Creek Elementary. Bring a sturdy box (or boxes) with you.

— Howard Civic Club would like to get more members involved with their group. Please consider attending the 6:15 p.m. meeting at the Howard fire hall. There is an optional meal preceding the meeting which is self-paid (currently $12). The meal is provided by Jane Bartley, owner of Country Elegance Catering Company. Civic Club dues are just $5 a year and are paid annually in January of each year. Call Linda at 814-280-3013 for more info.

— Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station on 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs.

WEDNESDAY

— Blood Drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Penn State HUB, Hetzel Union Building.

— Bellefonte Area School Board meeting, 7 p.m., at the Bellefonte Area Middle School cafeteria. The public is invited to attend.

— KBR Bingo and More’s straight line Bingo at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Regular game payouts are $50! Come join the fun! KBR Bingo is located in the Piper Museum Building with elevator service to the 3rd floor Bingo hall. Call Deb at 570-660-2647 for info.

THURSDAY

— Blood Drive, 12:30-6 p.m., at Centre Church in Pleasant Gap.

— Food distribution, 4-6 p.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 216 McAllister St., Bellefonte. No income guidelines, but some questions are asked of first time food recipients.

— Milesburg Lions Club Bingo at the community center, 6:45 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.

— Commonwealth University-Lock Haven will welcome technology executive and 1994 Lock Haven graduate Glen Allison to campus for a special presentation, “Raising the Bar: Glen Allison ’94 on Resilience, Purpose and Professional Success,” from 7:30 to 9 p.m., in Price Auditorium. The event is sponsored by CU-Lock Haven Athletics and co-sponsored by CU-Lock Haven’s Office of Alumni and Professional Engagement. The program is open to students, faculty, staff and members of the local community. Allison will discuss themes of resilience, purpose and professional growth — reflecting on how his college experiences, athletic discipline and personal determination shaped his professional journey. Students will gain insight into topics such as overcoming adversity, professional development, time management and translating college experiences into real-world success.

FRIDAY

— St. John’s United Church of Christ Light of the World Clothing Bank will be open from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Come select hats, gloves, winter coats, jackets, scarves and more! Everything is free, or you can make a donation to the church if you’d like! The church is located at 145 W. Linn St., Bellefonte.

— Centre Hall Fire Company’s First Friday of the month Bingo at the fire station. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; early bird games start at 6:30 p.m. and regular Bingo kicks off at 7 p.m.

SATURDAY

— St. John’s United Church of Christ Light of the World Clothing Bank will be open from 9 a.m. to noon. Come select hats, gloves, winter coats, jackets, scarves and more! Everything is free! The church is located at 145 W. Linn St., Bellefonte.

— Howard Fire Company’s annual gun raffle at the fire station, noon to 5 p.m. Bingo ball game prize is a gun safe with three mystery guns inside.

— Holy Spirit Parish will hold its annual Holly Mart Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lock Haven Catholic School’s gymnasium, 311 W. Water St., Lock Haven. The bazaar will include a silent auction, baked goods, new-to-you items, great food, theme baskets, a cash drawing and crafts for kids. Lunch will also be available.

— Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank, inside Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., for a “Just Boots Day” for families who have been to the Shoe Bank recently and aren’t yet eligible to return for shoes. All other families will be served Saturday, Nov. 15, when they can choose both boots and shoes. Kids and youth up to age 18, or in high school, are eligible if they have Compass and live in Clinton County or the Liberty-Curtin School area. Appointments are required! For your appointment, contact Diahann at 814-571-5324 any weeknight from 7-9 p.m.

— KBR Bingo is hosting an Adult Bingo at 1 p.m. Tickets are sold out.
