Cash Bingo
Jersey Shore American Legion Unit 36 Auxiliary is hosting a cash Bingo on Sunday, Jan. 25, at 320 Seminary St., Jersey Shore. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Only 100 tickets are available, so get yours now! Doors will open at 11 a.m., Bingo will start at 1 p.m. There will be refreshments available to purchase. No outside food or drinks allowed.
Blood Drives
The American Red Cross urges people to donate blood now. All blood donors are needed, especially those with type O blood. Several blood drives will be happening during the next few weeks that donors can attend. Visit the Red Cross website or call 1-800-RED CROSS to arrange an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcomed!
Blood drives will be held as follows:
On Dec. 30, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Willowbank Building, 420 Holmes St., Bellefonte.
On Dec. 30, from 12-4:30 p.m., at the Best Western hotel, 101 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven.
On Jan. 2, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at The YMCA, 145 E. Water St., Lock Haven.
Help pets in need
Want to give back to the community and help a homeless pet in need? Open your heart and home to a stray or homeless pet by becoming a pet foster with Clinton County Paws of Hope. All veterinary expenses, food, and supplies are provided by CCPOH. All you need to provide to a pet in need is love, care, and a warm place to lay its head until the perfect forever-family is found. Love the library
The Adopt-A-Magazine Campaign helps Ross Library buy one of the 110 magazines required to meet state standards. Also, the Book-A-Month Campaign helps buy new books for residents of all ages. A donation of any amount is appreciated. For more information, call the library at 570-748-3321.

Greyhound Meet and Greet
The Nittany Greyhounds Meet & Greet event occurs every 4th Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Petco, 40 Colonnade Way, State College. They will have greyhounds to interact with, including adoptable retired racing greyhounds, and an information table.
