Uptown Music Collective

The Sons and Daughters of Italy Lodge #146, 1 N. Henderson St., Lock Haven, will host Uptown Music Collective on their heated patio on Jan. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. This event is open to the public and will serve as a fundraiser for the collective’s Financial Aid Fund for students attending the program. There is no charge but donations will be accepted. The event will include performances by students from UMC, including 90’s rock, R&B groups and three solo performances.

Donut Sale

Trinity UM Church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, is having a fresh, homemade donut sale on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026. Donuts are sold for $8 a dozen or $4 for a half dozen. It’s best to call in your order early to 570-398-2913 and leave a message for how many you would like. Pickup is at the church using the Glover Street entrance. Extra donuts are made and available for walk-in sales beginning at 7 a.m. on Jan. 15.

Class of 1957

LHHS and ICHS Class of 1957 will meet on the second Saturday of each month at Restless Oaks at 9 a.m. Classmates and guests are welcome.

Blood Drives

The American Red Cross urges people to donate blood now. All blood donors are needed, especially those with type O blood. Several blood drives will be happening during the next few weeks that donors can attend. Visit the Red Cross website or call 1-800-RED CROSS to arrange an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcomed!

St. Paul Food Pantry

St. Paul Food Pantry, 6220 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, (1 mile north of the I-80 interchange on Route 64), is open the second and fourth Wednesday of every month from 9 to 11 a.m. No documentation is required.
