Civil War Roundtable

Free for kids
The Shoe Bank will give free new boots as well as free new shoes to eligible kids and teens Saturday, Jan. 17. Eligible families must live in Clinton County or the Liberty-Curtin School area and have Compass or a referral. Appointments are required and available from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. To get your appointment, contact Diahann at 814-571-5324, any weeknight from 7-9 p.m.
Stop ICE protest
A peaceful protest against ICE’s actions in Minneapolis and elsewhere will be held by Triangle Park on Saturday, Jan. 17, from 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Cookbook Sale

Career Closet
The address for Success Career Closet at Lock Haven University takes donations of new, or clean and gently-worn, business clothing for students to use. Accessories, briefcases, padfolios and monetary gifts (made payable to “LHUF — Career Services”) are also appreciated. To donate, drop off your items at the LHU Career Services office in Ulmer Hall weekdays during business hours, or contact that office at careerservices@lhup.edu or 570-484-2181.
