Lenten Fish Fries

Holy Spirit Parish in Lock Haven will continue to offer their annual “Drive-thru” Lenten Fish Fries beginning on Feb. 20 and continuing every Friday during Lent except Good Friday, from 4-6 p.m., on the grounds of the Parish Center at St. Agnes Church. The menu features Haddock (Yuengling beer battered or baked), mac and cheese, stewed tomatoes, coleslaw, bread and dessert. Meals are $17, and individual sides of fish or mac and cheese will be available. The church invites you to their “Ez Drive Thru” for a delicious meal prepared by its parish family, and thank you for your continued support. Questions? Call the parish office at 570-748-4594.

LHHS and ICHS of 1964

The 1964 Class of Lock Haven High School and Immaculate Conception High School will meet for their monthly luncheon on Thursday, Jan. 22, at 1 p.m., at Restless Oaks. All class members and friends are invited. For reservations, call Donna Barton at 570-748-6821.

Friendship Community Library

The FCL in Beech Creek is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 3-7 p.m. The Library is a division of the Annie Halenbake Ross Library and has an updated collection of books for loan, a variety of programs and tech support. Cash Bingo Events

Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station on 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs. Bingo will be next held on Jan. 19.

KBR Bingo and More holds Bingo every Tuesday night at the Piper Airport Museum’s 3rd floor, Lock Haven. Early Bird game at 6:15 p.m., and regular Bingo at 6:30 p.m.

Pot pie dinner

Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church will be having a homemade pot pie sale on Feb. 21. The ham pot pie is $10 a quart. To guarantee you get, it’s best to pre-order by calling the church office at 570-726-4112. Leave your name and how many quarts you would like on the answering machine if Pastor Susan isn’t there to take your call. To eliminate the wonder of what to have for dinner, stock up on the freezable quarts of pot pie.
