PennDOT: Clinton County I-80 mile marker 194 rest areas reopen Feb. 4
LOGANTON — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced the rest areas at mile marker 194 along Interstate 80 eastbound and westbound in Clinton County will reopen at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4. The rest areas closed in May to allow crews to replace the existing water and sewage treatment facilities and plumbing features.
All facilities will be fully operational at the time of reopening. PennDOT appreciates motorists’ patience during this closure.
Overall work included demolition and replacement of the existing treatment plants, construction of their replacements, and various site improvements, including sidewalks, chain link fencing, site utilities such as potable water distribution pipelines, electrical power distribution facilities, and related work. Work also included replacing existing plumbing features, such as toilets, sinks, and water fountains.
