Pennsylvania Beef Council invites public to help shape the 2026 PA Beef Trail
BEDFORD — From classic comfort foods to bold, chef-inspired creations, beef dishes across the Commonwealth tell a story of Pennsylvania’s rich agricultural heritage and vibrant food scene.
Now, the Pennsylvania Beef Council is calling on beef lovers statewide to help write the next chapter by nominating their favorite dishes for the 2026 PA Beef Trail.
The PA Beef Trail highlights restaurants across Pennsylvania that showcase exceptional beef dishes made with creativity, tradition, and flavor.
Each year, the trail serves as a guide for residents and visitors alike, encouraging them to explore local eateries while celebrating the farmers and ranchers behind every bite.
“We know some of the best beef dishes in Pennsylvania don’t always come with a spotlight, but they come with a loyal following,” said Nichole Hockenberry, executive director of the Pennsylvania Beef Council. “By asking the public to nominate their favorites, we’re uncovering the places and plates that represent Pennsylvania beef at its best.”
The 2026 PA Beef Trail will feature a mix of long-standing favorites and new discoveries, from iconic burgers and hearty roasts to globally inspired beef dishes and innovative takes on familiar cuts.
Nominations are open to restaurants of all sizes, from small-town diners to destination eateries, as long as beef is the star of the plate.
The PA Beef Trail is more than a dining guide. It is a celebration of local agriculture, culinary creativity, and the shared experiences that happen around the table. By participating, restaurants gain statewide exposure, and diners become part of a larger story connecting farms, kitchens, and communities across Pennsylvania.
