Bellefonte Fish Fry
Bellefonte Friday Night Fish Fry at St. John’s Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop St., will be on the following Fridays of Lent: Feb. 20 and 27, March 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. Menu includes baked lemon pepper cod (gluten free) or Yuengling beer battered haddock or Panko crusted fried shrimp; choice of three sides, French fries, mac and cheese, stewed tomatoes, cole slaw, apple sauce and a homemade dessert. Ala Carte items including Haluski and Pierogies with butter. Eat in or take out are available. The, cash only, cost is $15 for adults, $7 for children under 12, under 6 eat for free. Come experience Centre County’s Largest Fish Fry prepared and served by the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus and Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
Soup Sale
St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be holding a soup sale Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to noon. Soups being offered are chicken corn, vegetable beef and ham and bean. The soup is $8 a quart and may be picked up at the church on March 7. Orders may be placed by calling the church office at 570-748-5741 and leave your order on the message machine.
