Horses Kickoff

Please join Heroes & Horses in celebrating the 11th Season Kickoff of service to the veteran community. The season Kickoff Black Tie and Blue Jeans is on Saturday, March 21, from 6-9 p.m., at the Sons of Italy Patio, 1 N. Henderson St., Lock Haven. Class luncheon

LHHS and ICHS Class of 1964 will meet for their monthly luncheon on Thursday, March 26, at 1 p.m., at Haywoods on the Green. All class members and friends are invited. Call Donna Barton at 570-478-6821 to make your reservations.

Cemetery

Clean-up

Schencks Cemetery Association in Howard Township, Centre County, wants to remind patrons that old and worn decorations must be removed from graves by March 28 for clean-up to begin. Any decorations that you want to keep should be removed prior to the clean-up! Please do not put Easter decorations on the graves until after the clean-up has been handled.

TOPS

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is looking for interested participants and guest speakers. Weigh-ins are from 4:30-5 p.m. each Monday afternoon, followed by the business meeting at 5 p.m. TOPS is held at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Mill Hall. Guest speakers are being sought to give a 15-20 minute presentation (or demonstration) on nutrition, forms of exercising or other healthy habits during the meetings. For questions or to volunteer as a guest speaker, call Anna at 570-660-2087.

Donations needed

Roads to Peace is in need of: toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, 12 gallon garbage bags, hand and dish soap, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, razors, shaving cream, face wash, deodorant, gently used cutlery, pots/pans, bottled water, juice boxes, easy to prepare meals and snacks, dish sets, and unused bedding. Outdoor toys for children, such as balls, sidewalk chalk and bubbles are also needed for the summer months of play.

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!

Join Flemington Hi-Neighbor

The Flemington Hi-Neighbor Committee is looking for new members. They are an all volunteer non-profit group with a goal to provide events for the community. They sponsor a carnival in the spring, flowers for the park, fundraisers, Christmas events and an Easter egg hunt and also help a local church with their Senior Thanksgiving Dinner. They always welcome new suggestions. The Hi-Neighbors meet the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Flemington Borough Office during fall to spring and at the Flemington Park during spring and summer months, weather permitting.
