Lenten Fish Fries

Holy Spirit Parish in Lock Haven will continue to offer their annual “Drive-thru” Lenten Fish Fries continuing every Friday during Lent except for Good Friday, from 4-6 p.m., on the grounds of the Parish Center at St. Agnes Church. The menu features Haddock (Yuengling beer battered or baked), mac and cheese, stewed tomatoes, coleslaw, bread and dessert. Meals are $17, and individual sides of fish or mac and cheese will be available. The church invites you to their “Ez Drive Thru” for a delicious meal prepared by its parish family, and thank you for your continued support. Questions? Call the parish office at 570-748-4594.

Don’t forget about the pets! Our pets give us unconditional love and trust, and we owe them nothing less in return. In honor of your loving pets at home, please consider supporting Help for Pets, a 501c3 non-profit organization right here in Clinton County whose mission is to provide interest-free loans to pet owners to allow for urgent treatment of their pets to prevent unnecessary euthanasia. SVRCS Senior Socials

SVRCS’s Senior Socials have returned for the 2025-2026 school year. All seniors are welcome to join the second Friday of each month during March and April. The program runs from 12:30-2 p.m. in the gym lobby at 236 E. Main St., Loganton, where the life skills students will greet you and be your hosts! Activities, games, snacks and entertainment will be provided for your enjoyment! Come out and enjoy this special time to fellowship and interact with students. No reservation required. The Wayne Township Recreational Committee is offering their book, “A Township Called Wayne,” for a price of $10. This book will make a nice gift for family and friends, especially historians and those with ties to the Wayne Township community. Help Helping Hands Help Others

Helping Hands at United Lutheran Church is a non profit program that helps low income families and senior citizens with items such as toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap, laundry care, cleaning items and more. They are located at the United Lutheran Church in Lock Have, behind Kentucky Fried Chicken. They are asking for donations to keep the doors open.
