The Sons of the American Legion Post 442 recently asked local member and veteran Robert Calhoun to paint a mural for their club. Calhoun, who often combines his tremendous artistic skills along with his hobby and love of studying military history, came up with a mural that now welcomes visitors to their Erie Avenue Remembrance Post. Depicted in the painting are two F/A-18 Super Hornets and CVN 78 USS Gerald R Ford. When asked for comment about his newest endeavor Calhoun said simply “Special thanks to all our veterans home and abroad. I hope everyone will come and join us at Post 442.”
