Alzheimer’s Caregiver’s Support Group to meet April 14

LOCK HAVEN — The Alzheimer’s and Caregivers’ Support Group will meet Tuesday, April 14, from 7-8 p.m., at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven.

Natashya Boyd, Marketing Development Representative with Help at Home, a home care agency, will be the guest speaker. Help at Home is a non-medical home care agency located in Williamsport and serving Clinton County and surrounding areas. Natashya will talk about the services the agency can provide, available payer sources and will answer questions from the group.

Caregivers, especially those who are caring for dementia patients at home, are often overwhelmed with multiple caregiving tasks. Additional care for the patient and respite for the caregiver has been proven to be beneficial to both the patient and the caregiver.
