Memorial Day events scheduled for area

From Staff Reports A variety of area organizations are gearing up to honor the Memorial Day holiday. The Express has compiled a list of events for the upcoming weekend: FRIDAY, MAY 22 — Howard Area Lions will have their Memorial Service this evening, May 22, beginning at 6 p.m., at the Foster Joseph Sayers Medal of Honor Memorial Monument at the breast of the dam. Ag Preservation Board announces deadline for special Farmland Preservation applications

LOCK HAVEN — The Clinton County Agriculture Preservation Board is reminding local farm owners about a special revision to their application deadline for this year for ranking Farmland Preservation applications. Normally applications are only submitted for ranking in odd years. However, this year applications accepted for ranking will be current for three years.
