LIGHTHOUSE CAMP CONCERTS Concerts are continuing at the Lamar Lighthouse Camp each Sunday evening beginning at 6 p.m. The concerts are free, with a love offering taken each week. The Silers will be entertaining on Aug. 30. South of Mason will be in concert on Sept. 6, followed by Tru-Vintage on Sept. 13. And then the Fuller Family Singers on Sept. 20. Covenant Cafe to meet Sept. 1

LOCK HAVEN — The Covenant Cafe, an activity group for those in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias, will be meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 1 to 3 p.m., for a picnic at the Nature Park in McElhattan. The entree will be provided but attendees are asked to bring a side dish to share. Master Gardeners Kathy Gillen and Lynda Cridge will be the guest presenters with a state flower quilt activity and other nature related activities.
