Applications open for Grow PA Grant Program

The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) has announced that the student application for the 2026-27 Grow Pennsylvania Scholarship Grant Program, more commonly known as the Grow PA Grant, will be available on pheaa.org/growpa and is now open. Over 11,000 applications from 162 schools were received for the current 2025-26 program year; nearly 5,700 recipients were awarded the grant from 131 participating schools. Milesburg Borough Water to shut down for repairs tomorrow

MILESBURG — Milesburg Borough Water Authority will have a System‑Wide Water Shutdown on Saturday, Feb. 7, beginning at 8 a.m. This shutdown will affect all customers. Water operators have found a leak that requires a full system shutdown in order to complete the repair safely. Water service will be shut off on Saturday morning, starting at 8 a.m., and will remain off until the repairs have been completed.
