LOCK HAVEN — Alanna’s in Lock Haven is hosting their first “Breakfast with the Easter Bunny” Easter event on March 23 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at their location at 8 Bellefonte Ave.

Kids will have the option of either an order of pancakes or scrambled eggs with toast, juice or milk, and each child will get to pick an egg for one of 40 gifts.

“They will be able to pick an egg, and there will be a number inside. I’m going to have around 40 gifts. Whatever the number is, we’ll find the gift with that number,” said owner Tammy Lamey.

There will also be two door prizes — giant fluffy peep stuffed toys — that attendees will have a chance to win. For the door prizes, parents can leave their contact information for after the drawing.

Alanna’s, which opened its doors at the tail end of 2022, opened in honor of Alanna Neidig who passed away earlier that year as a way to keep her memory alive.

According to Lamey, Alanna would have loved the Easter event.

“I love doing stuff like this. Alanna would have loved it too, she was all about her kids and making kids happy,” said Lamey.

The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday; open from 12 noon to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday; 12 noon to 8 p.m. on Friday; 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 7 a.m. to 12 noon on Sunday.
