LOCK HAVEN — Give Back: A Community Thrift Store owners, the Hilty family, are following in their grandparents’ footsteps as they offer a variety of products at reasonable prices — all while looking to give back to those in need.

Reviving the original Salvation Army thrift store the Hilty family opened Give Back in October 2025, following 18 months of work.

The Hiltys’ grandparents, Dan and Leslie, originally opened the Salvation Army thrift store after purchasing the building in 1998.

The act of giving back doesn’t end with the opening of the store as Blake Marsh, a spokesperson with the family, shared that a portion of the profits made from the store will be donated to a different non-profit each month.

While you walk through the store, you’re surrounded by a large selection of men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, shoes, kitchenware, festive decor and more! Give Back is also accepting donations during their store hours which will be Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

While the store may be filled with lots of goods to look through, if your kids find themselves getting restless as you browse the store, they can check out the built-in playhouse tucked away near the front of the store.
