Jammin’ on Main Street

LH JAMS a hit among residents Saturday

JAMES RICCARDO/THE EXPRESS

It was different this year due to COVID-19, but residents still flocked to Main Street on Saturday afternoon to enjoy quality music during the 5th Annual LH JAMS Festival. Although clouds hung over their heads, no rain appeared as two bands performed on the Main and Grove streets stage beginning at 3 p.m. First was Chris LaRose and the Hex Highway Band, below, followed soon after by Slow Hands, an Eric Clapton Tribute Band, above, at 5:30 p.m. Residents brought lawn chairs or enjoyed the sounds from outdoor seats at area restaurants throughout the downtown. Although the festival didn’t have its usual arts and crafts vendors, it still had the core of the festival — great music and a good time for all.
