The Flags of Honor Ceremony was held Sunday in Triangle Park in downtown Lock Haven. Flags of Honor is a project of the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven and is made possible by community members and businesses who sponsor flags and become corporate sponsors. A total of 171 flags were sponsored this year in memory of, and in honor of, a veteran, first-responder, family member, friend, co-worker or teacher, from members of the community. Thanks to this record number of sponsors, the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven is giving $4,000 in scholarships to Central Mountain High School graduating seniors. Proceeds will also go to local nonprofit organizations that directly help the community. The flags will be on display until Sunday, June 1, giving the community extra time to pay their respects to the men and women who are being honored and remembered.

Starting at $3.69/week.
