The event, organized each year by Clinton County Sheriff Kerry Stover and District Attorney Dave Strouse, was held Saturday and featured a wide range of activities and information to check out.

Like many other Night Out events held nationwide, it served as a community team building event featuring all levels of law enforcement, fire and rescue, emergency medical personnel and first responders.

Families had the chance to meet local emergency service personnel, participate in various activities, get an up close look at various apparatus and learn about what each organization can provide.

Like in years past, attendees also enjoyed a hot dog, drink and chips while they visited the various booths.

Also featured was a slide and the chance for kids to run through the spray of a fire hose, which was directed upwards to allow a shower to rain down on kids and adults alike.
