BELLEFONTE — Come out to Bellefonte Area High School on Wednesday, Nov. 5, for a night of STEAM exploration for all ages!
In collaboration with Penn State Outreach, BASD will host an evening of hands-on activities covering science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics topics.
Family STEAM Night will be held in the Bellefonte Area High School gymnasium from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Activities include a slime room and a planetarium, as well as raffles and a book giveaway for your family’s readers. A toddler-oriented space is also planned for the evening’s youngest participants.
STEAM education is an approach to learning that uses experiential activities to develop a wide range of vital skills — such as creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking and collaboration — that prepare learners for both technical and creative careers.
