MILL HALL — Local radio personality Mark “the Shark” Schlesinger hosted his 32nd annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive which brought in dozens of donations from the community, including several KCSD elementary schools.
Donations of unwrapped toys, bikes and money were accepted throughout the toy drive at Walmart on Hogan Boulevard.
Toys were donated by students, staff and families at Mill Hall, Woodward and Liberty-Curtin Elementary schools before they were picked up by volunteers from Dunnstown Fire Company.
Each year, this toy drive helps bring holiday cheer to around 1,000 children across Clinton County and the KCSD area.
Toys and other donations were set up at the Flemington First Church of Christ where they were distributed amongst a network of local schools, charities and organizations that included Clinton County Children and Youth, The Infant Development Program, The Salvation Army and more.

This year, Schlesinger shared that at least 939 kids in the area had received something for the holidays but with last minute donations from the community, he is confident that number will be closer to 1,000 kids.
