LOCK HAVEN — Representatives of the Clinton County Economic Partnership and Visitors Bureau attended the board of commissioners’ recent voting session to remind interested organizations, businesses and non-profits of the 2026 Tourism Grant.

On Thursday, CCEP CEO Jason Fitzgerald and Tourism Director Melissa Dally spoke about the grant, reminding those interested they must complete and submit their application by March 9.

The annual program supports projects that enhance the visitor experience, elevate local attractions and encourage overnight stays in our beautiful county, Dally said.

New this year, those who submit an application must be a member of the CCEP. Members may also submit an application together.

“Grants (will be) awarded to a current member or a combination of members of the Clinton County Economic Partnership,” Fitzgerald said.

He also briefly reviewed the types of projects that are considered for the grant including: capital projects that will directly benefit tourism; marketing projects which are meant to reach non-county residents; and special programs, events and exhibits.

Dally noted priority will be given to applicants who include projects that encourage overnight stays, promote collaboration in overnight lodging activities, target new markets and enhance the visitor experience.

“We can’t wait to see the creative, inspiring and community-focused projects you have in store! Whether it’s improving signage, launching a new program, renovating a visitor space or enhancing marketing efforts, this grant is here to help bring your vision to life,” she said.

Dally further thanked all the organizations, businesses and community leaders for their work in helping promote the county.

“(They) work tirelessly to promote Clinton County, not just as a destination worth visiting but as a county that’s worth calling home. Your dedication does make our community shine,” she said.
