Leadership class holds Education and Youth Issues session at CMHS

MILL HALL — Leadership Clinton County held its Education & Youth Issues Session on Friday, April 10, at Central Mountain High School. This session brought together local educators, administrators and community leaders to explore the challenges and opportunities impacting youth across Clinton County.

The program began with a presentation from Keystone Central School District Superintendent Dr. Francis Redmon. Attendees had the opportunity to tour the Career and Technology Center (CTC), where they observed the impressive, advanced-level work completed by high school students.

After a catered lunch provided by Temptations Restaurant, the Culinary Arts students at CMHS, they heard about “Issues Facing Our Youth,” featuring insights from local school leaders including Deb Kline (Central Mountain High School), Laura Fragassi (Central Mountain Middle School) and Brad McCloskey (Robb Elementary).

The session ended with Educational Opportunities in Clinton County, highlighting resources and programs available to support youth development. Presenters included representatives from PA CareerLink, CIU 10 Development Center, the Infant Development Program and Skills of Central PA.
