Castanea Day set for July 18; Event to feature vendors, music and more

CASTANEA — The Castanea Township Recreation Committee and Supervisors announced plans for Castanea Day on Saturday, July 18, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., at locations throughout the township. The event will open with a Vendor and Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Castanea Historic Railroad Complex and Bald Eagle Valley Trail, 15 Logan Ave. The fair will feature 30 vendors, artisans and exhibitors, an open house display by Clinton Central Model Railroad, open houses in historic cabooses by the Clinton County Historical Society and a basket raffle to benefit recreation activities. ...
