Harassment

NORTH BEND — On June 12, state police at Lamar were summoned to an address on N. Ransdorf Avenue in Chapman Township for the report of a domestic altercation. Upon investigation, police arrested a 16-year-old female from West Columbia, S.C., through MDJ Frank Mills’ office.

Police said the victim in the altercation was a 31-year-old male from North Bend, Pa.

Domestic dispute

RENOVO — On June 9, around 3:09 a.m., state police at Lamar were dispatched to 12011 Ridge Road in Noyes Township for the report of a domestic dispute.

Upon the arrival of Officer Yedlosky, it was determined that a physical altercation had occurred. The victim in the incident was a 30-year-old Renovo man.

Police said that an arrest was made on a 22-year-old Renovo female with charges being filed through District Judge Frank Mills’ office.

Cycle crash

LOCK HAVEN — State police investigated a motorcycle crash on June 10 at 5:33 p.m. in the area of Henry Street and Take a Peek Road in Pine Creek Township.

According to police, Douglas M. Tressler, 65, of Lock Haven, was operating a 2009 Harley-Davidson Dyna Fat Boy cycle when he lost control while entering a left hand curve. The cycle struck a bridge abutment off the shoulder of Henry Street.

Police said that Tressler was wearing a helmet, did receive minor injuries in the crash and was transported to UPMC Williamsport.

Police were assisted at the scene by the Jersey Shore Area EMS.

Harassment

BEECH CREEK — State police at Lamar investigated the report of physical harassment that occured on March 22 in Beech Creek Borough.

Police said the incident took place between a 12-year-old male and a 13-year-old male.

Vehicle crash

LAMAR — State police at Lamar investigated a single vehicle crash that occurred on June 8 at approximately 12:22 p.m. on I-80 near mile marker 174, just West of Fishing Creek Road in Porter Township, Clinton County.

According to police, Charles T. Horton, 56, of Millerton, was driving a 2023 Chevrolet and lost control of the vehicle which went off the roadway and struck a rock wall before flipping onto its roof and skidding to a stop.

Police said that Horton was wearing a seat belt but received minor injuries in the crash. The vehicle received disabling damage.

Police were assisted at the scene by the Lamar Fire Company, Goodwill Hose EMS and Tressler’s Towing.

Domestic dispute

LOCK HAVEN — State police at Lamar were called to an address on Reservior Road in Wayne Township on June 10 for the report of a domestic disturbance.

Police determined through their investigation that both parties, a 60-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman, both of Lock Haven, had made unwanted physical contact with each other. Police said charges were filed through MDJ Keith Kibler’s office.

DUI

LOCK HAVEN — State police at Lamar conducted a traffic stop on May 22 at 11:55 p.m. on West Bald Eagle and South Fairview streets in Lock Haven.

Police said that Adam Dieffenbacker, 42, of Jersey Shore, was operating a 2016 red Ram truck and was deemed to be under the influence of alcohol.

Police said their investigation is continuing.

PFA violation

WESTPORT — State police at Lamar were dispatched to an address on Plank Road in Noyes Township on June 7 at approximately 9 p.m. for the report of a PFA violation.

Police said that through their investigation it was determined that Robin Obrien, a 65-year-old male of Westport, attempted to contact the protected party, a 41-year-old female of Westport, by a third person.

Police said that Obrien was taken into custody and charges were filed through MDJ Frank Mills’ office.

Suspected DUI

SNOW SHOE — On June 8, at 8:24 p.m., state police at Lamar stopped a 2020 black Dodge on 1-80 in the area of mile marker 1460 for a traffic violation.

Police said that the driver, a 35 year-old Williamsport man, was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.

Police said that charges are pending the chemical testing results.

Sexual assault

MILLHEIM — State police at Lamar are investigating the report of a sexual assault that occurred on Locust Street in Millheim Borough on June 19-June 20.

Police said that the victim in the assault is a 28-year-old Lock Haven female.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call them at 570-726-6000 and reference incident 2025-773688.

Fell asleep

LOGANTON — State police at Lamar investigated an accident that happened on June 23 at 5:05 a.m. on Route 880, East Valley Road, in Greene Township.

Police said the driver, Quinton Murawski, 29, of Salladasburg, fell asleep allowing his vehicle, a 2014 Chev. Silverado, to veer off the roadway and struck a culvert and tree.

Police said that Murawski and his passenger, Mercidieu Tidor, 37, of Jersey Shore, were both wearing seat belts but suffered minor injuries and were transported to the Jersey Shore Hospital by Goodwill Hose Company Ambulance.

Police said the driver was cited for careless driving.

One vehicle crash

LOGANTON — State police at Lamar investigated an accident that occurred on June 20 just before 1 a.m. on I-80 E, in the area of Mount Riansares Road in Greene Township.

Police said the female driver, Soroh Mizrachi, 37, of South Bend, Ind., was operating a 2019 Honda Odyssey at the time of the crash. The operator struck a guide rail and traveled across both lanes of travel before striking an embankment which caused disabling damage to the vehicle.

Police said the passengers in the vehicle, 41-year-old Yitchak Mizrachi, along with a 12-year-old male, an 8-year-old male, a 2-year-old female and a 2-year-old male, were all wearing seat belts and/or using children’s safety seats at the time of the crash. No injuries were reported.

Bank account theft

FARRANDSVILLE — State police at Lamar were made aware of a theft from a bank account on April 21, 2025.

State police said this theft occurred in Michigan when an unknown individual used the victim’s information to make purchases.

Police said the victim, Ashley Miles, 40, of Farrandsville, had $165 stolen from her checking account.

Vehicle strikes

guiderail

BEECH CREEK — State police at Lamar were called to the Dollar General parking lot in Beech Creek on June 19 for an accident that happened at the store’s entrance.

According to police, the driver of a 2019 Chev. Malibu was attempting to turn into the store at 455 Eagle Valley Road in Beech Creek Township when the operator misjudged her turning radius and struck a guiderail at the business entrance causing minor damage to the guiderail.

Police said there were no injuries to the driver who was issued a traffic warning relating to the crash. PennDOT was notified by telephone of the minor damage to the guiderail.

Minor injuries

RENOVO — State police at Lamar were called to an accident on Renovo Road just west of Lazy Lane in Grugan Township on May 9 at 6:15 p.m.

Police said the driver of a 2023 Chev. Trail Blazer, Lorie Farrell, 52, of Mill Hall, was traveling north on Renovo Road when she crossed the southbound lane, left the roadway and struck a raised embankment.

Police said that Farrell was wearing a seatbelt but received minor injuries and was transported by Goodwill Hose Co. ambulance to UPMC Lock Haven.
