Bicyclist struck

LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Police recently investigated a vehicle accident involving a bicyclist on July 14.

According to police, at 6:42 a.m., Victoria Boyle was driving her vehicle near the intersection of Second Avenue and Linden Street when a cyclist, name not listed, entered the intersection without stopping at a stop sign, causing them to strike her vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured but the cyclist received multiple injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment, police said.

Hit and run

LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Police were called to the Save-A-Lot parking area, 120 E. Walnut St., on Aug. 1 at 3:52 p.m. for reports of a hit and run.

According to police, the victim said they entered the business at 3:30 p.m. and, about 15 minutes later, returned to their vehicle to find damage just above the rear driver’s side tire.

No vehicles were parked in the area of the victim’s vehicle, police said.

Medical episode leads to

parking lot accident

LOCK HAVEN — A medical episode may have led to a two vehicle accident in the parking lot of Weis Market, 313 W. Bald Eagle St., on Aug. 4, Lock Haven City Police said.

Officers were on the scene of another incident at about 5:30 p.m. when an officer observed a Ford F-150, no driver listed, strike a legally parked Audi RS4 in the lot, police said.

When approaching the truck, the driver appeared to be having a medical episode prior to the crash, police said.

No injuries were reported and information was exchanged between both drivers, police said.

Furnishing drug-free urine

LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Police were called to the Clinton County Probation office on July 21 at 4:43 p.m. for reports of fake urine being used for a drug screening.

According to police, officers were given a device that was used to provide a fake urine sample used by Shaun Wadsworth.

Wadsworth admitted to possessing the device in an attempt to obscure having a positive drug test, police said.

Wadsworth was charged with furnishing drug-free urine, police said.

UTV Crash

RENOVO — Renovo Police investigated a UTV crash on Aug. 2 at 10:24 p.m. along Boone Road in the area of Stoney Run Road in Chapman Township.

According to police, the 2025 Polaris UTV was being operated by Blake Pavlas, 23, of Akron, Ohio. As Pavlas entered a curve in the road at a speed too great, he lost control of the UTV, causing it to roll over.

Police said Pavlas and a passenger in the UTV, Mariah McDivitt, 31, of Dover, Ohio, were wearing safety equipment and were not injured in the crash.
