Accident leads to

citation

HOWARD — Ethan Baker, 35, of Lock Haven, was cited after his 2005 Hyundai Elantra struck the rear of another vehicle on July 30 while attempting to pass it as it was turning, according to state police at Rockview.

The crash caused disabling damage to Baker’s car. A passenger in the other vehicle sustained a bruise but declined medical treatment.

Baker was charged with failure to drive on the right side of the roadway, police said.

Harassment

NITTANY — Alexander James, 19, of Howard, was cited for allegedly harassing an 18-year-old Bellefonte woman between June 4 and July 1 in Walker Township, according to state police at Rockview.

Theft of

power tools

HOWARD — A 75-year-old Blanchard man reported to state police at Rockview on Aug. 2 that a Husqvarna and Jonsered power tools, valued at approximately $600, were stolen from a property on Greens Run Road in Howard Township.

Identity theft

WOODWARD — A 50-year-old Woodward man contacted state police at Rockview on Aug. 5 to report that his bank account information had been stolen.

Police said no suspect has been identified at this time.

Truck crashes

into home on Buffalo Run Road

GROVE PARK — A crash occurred at 1:11 p.m. on July 28 at 1370 Buffalo Run Road after a silver Subaru sedan abruptly slowed in the travel lane, causing the driver of a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 to swerve to avoid a collision, according to state police at Rockview.

Christopher Lamey, 41, of Philipsburg, who was driving the Dodge, struck a 2018 Ford Escape that was exiting a driveway and entering Buffalo Run Road. Lamey’s vehicle then continued across the front yard of 1370 Buffalo Run Road before crashing into the home, causing significant structural damage, police said.

The driver of the silver Subaru fled the scene and could not be identified.

No injuries were reported. Both the Dodge and the Ford were towed from the scene.

Lamey was charged with following too closely, police said.
