DUI alleged
MILL HALL — Charges are pending against a driver accused of driving under the influence following a traffic stop along Eagle Valley Road, Bald Eagle Township on Sept. 20, state police at Lamar said.
At 12:38 a.m., troopers stopped a 2022 Chevrolet Trail Blazer for Title 75 violations.
During the investigation, police said the driver, a 48-year-old Blanchard woman, was observed to be under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Investigation remains open pending toxicology results, police said.
Rape alleged
LAMAR — State police at Lamar are investigating a report of rape that occurred between Sept. 17 and Sept. 18 in Lamar Township and involved a 44-year-old victim.
No further information was available.
DUI arrest
MILL HALL — A 31-year-old Beech Creek man was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop along state Route 220 on Sept. 20 at 2:01 a.m., state police at Lamar said.
According to police, troopers stopped the man in his 2007 Dodge pickup in the southbound lane near mile marker 109 for Title 75 violations.
During the investigation, it was determined the man had been consuming alcoholic beverages, police said.
Tools stolen from work trailer
LOGANTON — State police at Lamar are currently investigating theft of multiple tools from a work trailer along East Valley Road, Greene Township on Aug. 18.
Troopers were called to the area for reports of a theft from a 2018 Wells Cargo, Inc. commercial trailer.
A review of surveillance video saw an unknown suspect between 12:46 a.m. and 12:53 a.m. and again between 2:13 a.m. and 2:21 a.m. remove multiple tools from the trailer, police said.
Items taken included: Kobalt 1/4 sliding compound miter saw, valued at $240; Milwaukee packout 22 inch rolling three piece set, valued at $330; Milwaukee small parts organizer, valued at $70; Milwaukee small parts organizer low profile, valued at $30; Allen wrench set, valued at $40; folding hex key set, valued at $16; mini sledge, valued at $33; rubber mallet, valued at $22; rivet gun, valued at $60; staple gun, valued at $35; wonder bar, valued at $18; Tin snip set “wiss,” valued at $42; hammer, valued at $30; drywall rasp, valued at $14; dry wall circle cutter, valued at $11; 3 inch formica roller, valued at $25; nail puller cats paw pry bar, valued at $21; 25 foot tape measure, valued at $25; 35 foot tape measure, valued at $39; Xtreme fubar functional utility bar, valued at $44; Malco straight cut tin snips, valued at $32; Malco siding removal tool, valued at $7; gear wrench SAE/metric set, valued at $109; aviation snips, valued at $34; 154 piece Craftsman tool set, valued at $250; and various other hand tools, vice grips, lineman pliers and more.
A master lock, valued at $46, was damaged during the theft, police said.

PFA violation
AVIS — A 31-year-old Williamsport woman was arrested for a Protection From Abuse (PFA) violation following an incident on Sept. 7, state police at Lamar said.
According to police, troopers were dispatched to an area along Woodward Avenue at 10:15 a.m. for reports of the violation involving Taylor Hostrander and a 29-year-old male victim.
Interviews were conducted and it was determined a violation occurred, police said.
Hostrander was contacted and met authorities at the Clinton County Correctional Facility to turn herself in, police said.
Charges for the violation were filed through District Judge Keith Kibler’s office.
Harassment
SNOW SHOE — Theodore Stoner, 39, of Snow Shoe, was cited for allegedly harassing a 56-year-old man at 6:50 a.m. Sept. 27 on Olive Street in Snow Shoe Borough, according to state police at Rockview.
$18,000 lost in scam
BELLEFONTE — A 63-year-old Bellefonte man, was allegedly scammed out of $18,600 cash through his computer, according to state police at Rockview
As of Sept. 24, there were no leads in the case. The case will be closed and reopened if new information becomes available, police said.
Two 12-year-old girls charged with harassment
CENTRE HALL — Two 12-year-old girls at The Meadows in Potter Township were cited for harassment following physical contact on the evening of Aug. 28, according to state police at Rockview.
Harassment
ZION — Brandon Smith, 20, of Tyrone, was cited for harassment at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 28, according to state police at Rockview. Police said the victim, a 43-year-old Bellefonte woman, had advised Smith not to contact her, but he failed to comply.
Broken car window
JULIAN — State police at Rockview said a 2010 Chevrolet Impala belonging to a 24-year-old Julian woman had its window broken on Catty 9 Trail in Huston Township around 5:45 p.m. Aug. 5. Police said there are no leads in the investigation at this time.
Evading arrest
RENOVO — Darryl McDermit, Jr., 43, of Renovo, was arrested on seven outstanding warrants after allegedly fleeing on foot, according to the Renovo Police Department. McDermit was apprehended a short time later along Ontario Avenue.
He was committed to the Clinton County Correctional Facility in lieu of a $1,500 bond on a new misdemeanor charge of evading arrest on foot, police said.
Cruelty to animals
RENOVO — State police are investigating a report of a house cat that was shot by a pellet gun in the alleyway between Susquehanna Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, according to state police at Lamar.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
Tipped shed
LOGANTON — A 32-year-old man reported to police that someone tipped over his telephone shed onto its side on Aug. 9, damaging the wire connection, according to state police of Lamar.
Police are currently investigating.
Found firearm
CASTANEA — State police at Lamar responded to a report of a firearm found near S. Hanna Street, Castanea Township.
The firearm was returned to its owner, police said.
Disorderly conduct
RENOVO — Amanda Hurneman, 36, of Renovo, was arrested after allegedly abusing several emergency and mental health services with false, non-emergencies, according to Lamar police.
Hurneman was taken into custody and was allegedly found to have several illegal substances in her possession, police said. She was taken to the Clinton County Prison on related charges, police said.
PFA violation
MILL HALL — Police responded to a report of a PFA violation on Aug. 8, near Stovers Cross Road. Upon investigation, the report was determined to be unfounded, according to state police at Lamar.
Stolen stop sign
MILL HALL — A stop sign was stolen from the intersection of Stone House Road and Dotterers Road sometime overnight between Aug. 17 and 18, state police at Lamar said.

False alarm
FLEMINGTON — On Aug.18, state police responded to Taco Bell on multiple occasions for false burglar alarms, according to state police at Lamar.
Harassment
MILL HALL — A 56-year-old man was arrested near Fox Hollow Road, Mill Hall, after police responded to an inactive domestic on Aug. 10, according to state police at Lamar.
The arrestee was cited with harassment, according to police.
Stolen stop sign
MILL HALL — A stop sign was stolen from the intersection of Browns Hill Road and Jacksonville Road sometime overnight between Aug. 21 and 22, police said.
