Vehicle rear ended

HOWARD — A 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Kole M. Phillips, 19, of Beech Creek, rear ended a 2009 Toyota Matrix, driven by Madison M. Ruggiers, 19, of Mill Hall, along North Eagle Valley Road near Hunter Run Road on Oct. 14, according to state police at Rockview.

Ruggiers was stopped along state Route 150, waiting to turn left onto Hunter Run Road when the accident occurred, police said.

Ruggiers was transported to UPMC Lock Haven for unknown injuries, police said.

DUI with injuries

HOWARD — A crash occurred on Oct. 25 on North Eagle Valley Road and Gates Road when a 2015 Honda Accord, driven by Yamilet Paulino, 45, of Allentown, merged onto the northbound lane from I-80 and was rear ended, according to state police at Rockview.

A 2020 Ford F-150XLT, driven by Rex A. Johnson, 45, of Mill Hall, was traveling at too high a speed and struck Paulino, police said.

Both cars sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene, police said.

Paulino and Johnson sustained suspected minor injuries while a passenger of Paulino was transported to Mt. Nittany Medical Center for a sustained head injury, police said.

Johnson is suspected to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident, police said.

Three-vehicle crash

MILESBURG — A three vehicle crash occurred on Oct. 9 as Tim M. Colpetzer, 61, of Milesburg, driving a 2024 Ram 2500, made a left turn onto I-80 on North Eagle Valley Road without seeing a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country, driven by Patricia L. Masden, 79, of Howard, according to state police at Rockview.

Colpetzer struck Masden which scattered debris, striking the windshield of a 2023 Ford Bronco driven by Lisa M. Ferguson, 54, of Snow Shoe, police said.

Masden was evaluated on the scene by EMS with suspected minor injuries, police said.

Those involved were assisted on the scene by Bellefonte EMS and Rees Towing, police said.

DUI

SPRING MILLS — Shannon R Grenoble, 26, of Millheim, was taken into custody following a crash that occurred on Nov. 27 on Penns Valley Road around 3:30 a.m., according to state police at Rockview.

Grenoble, driving a 2021 Subaru WRX, was traveling eastbound along Penns Valley Road too fast and went off the right shoulder, police said.

Grenoble then drove up a small embankment into the air and struck a utility pole, police said.

After heading down an embankment into a nearby parking lot, Grenoble attempted to flee the scene but the vehicle sustained disabling damage, according to police.

Grenoble then fled the scene and was later identified and located at his residence where he was taken into custody, police said.

Grenoble did not sustain injuries, but was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and consented to a chemical blood test, police said.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Bowersox Truck Repair and the roadway was reopened at 4:30 a.m., police said.

Snow causes accident

LOGANTON — A 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit, driven by Logan J. Alderson, 24, of Kulpmont, was involved in an accident along I-80 near mile marker 191.5 on Dec. 13, according to state police at Lamar.

Alderson lost control due to excessive speed during snowy road conditions, police said.

The vehicle left the south side of the roadway before striking the embankment and overturning onto the roof, police said.

Possible minor injuries were reported, police said.

Harassment with

physical contact

NORTH BEND — A minor altercation took place between a father and son on Dec. 14 inside a residence, according to state police at Lamar.

A citation for harassment was filed through MDJ 25-3-03, police said.

One-vehicle accident

LAMAR — The driver of a 2025 International Harvester MV suffered suspected minor injuries following a one vehicle accident along Interstate 80 near mile marker 178, in Lamar Township on Dec. 6, state police at Lamar said.

At 9:21 a.m., Bogdan J. Bukowski, 46, of Woodridge, Ill., was traveling west in the left lane when he failed to maintain his lane and left the south side of the road, police said.

Bukowski overcorrected in an attempt to return to the road, causing him to travel across both lanes and down an embankment, rolling onto its driver side, police said.

Bukowski was transported to UPMC Lock Haven by Goodwill Hose EMS for his injuries and the vehicle was towed by Eagle Towing and Recovery, police said.

Vehicle strikes deer

HOWARD — No injuries were reported in a one vehicle crash along Monument Orviston Road, Liberty Township, on Dec. 6, state police at Lamar said.

At 12:38 a.m., Ryan Z. Conway, 20, of Howard, was traveling along the roadway when a deer entered his lane, causing him to swerve his 2021 Ford Mustang, police said.

Conway’s vehicle struck a guide rail on the south shoulder before spinning 180 degrees, police said.

Conway’s vehicle suffered disabling damage but neither he nor his passenger, Mason K. Berry, 18, of Blanchard, were injured, police said.

Conway was cited in relation to driving at safe speeds as a result of the accident, police said.

FLEMINGTON — State police at Lamar are investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred on Dec. 6.
