Man arrested after disturbance at emergency room

LOCK HAVEN — A 30-year-old man faces multiple charges after Lock Haven City Police were called to UPMC Lock Haven Emergency Room for reports of a disorderly patient.
According to police, the incident occurred on Oct. 25, 2025, where hospital staff said Nicholas Lawrence Gower “exhibited violent and belligerent behavior.”
Gower allegedly damaged medical equipment and physically attacked a security officer, a doctor and a nurse, police said.
Gower was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, a second degree felony; criminal mischief, a third degree felony; criminal mischief, a third degree misdemeanor, three counts of harassment, a summary violation; three counts of simple assault, a second degree misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a third degree misdemeanor, police said.
